Question: Do American Medical Center hospitalize patients with infectious diseases in Moscow?

Answer:

Ministry of Health of the Russian Federationdoes not allow private hospitals to hospitalize patients with infectious diseases. That is why treating these patients in American Medical Center facilities is impossible. When a patient is diagnosed through AMC as having an infectious disease, he/she is directed or transferred to an infectious diseases specialist at one of the three Moscow Infectious Diseases hospitals.
