26.10.07: Lack of B9 and С damages sight

Negative effect of amino acid has been discovered. Scientists from Georgia Medical College showed negative impact of amino acid on retina vessels and cells.

The level of the acid increases as result of the lack of B9 and C vitamins. Previously, scientists noticed the negative influence of myocardium cells. The experiment involved mice, and the biologist Silvia Smith showed the negative impact in amino acid on retina cells. The detailed mechanism will be investigated when the scientists get grant of two million from the National Health Institute.
